Up General Info Directions/Sched Solo/Duo Rules Team Rules

  1. To determine average age, total ages of all dancers performing in a particular routine, divide that number by the total number of dancers. If the average age is a decimal (Example 14.6) drop the decimal and the average age is 14 which falls into the Junior Team Age Division.
  2. A dancer can dance up to 2 times per dance category BUT only once per age division.
  3. Solos might require callbacks.
  4. Solos & Acapella solos are separate categories divided by ages divisions & divided by female & male divisions.
  5. Duo/Duet & Show/Duo/Duet are one category divided by age divisions, includes female/female, male/male or female/male.
  6. Short Duo/Duet is one category divided by age divisions, includes female/female, male/male or female/male.
  7. Three or more judges will be used and their decisions are final.
  8. Misuse of the Theatre Dublin facility will disqualify a dancer or a team from the competition. No practicing in the lobby or behind the stage curtains. No food/drink in the auditorium.

    Entry Fees:     $8.00 per dancer, per category

    Spectators: $5.00

    Pre-registration is required for Teams &
    Duo/Duets/Show Duo/Duets.

    can register at the door— but

Competition Director reserves the right
to combine solo age groups.

 

Attention: Directors and Dancers

Dressing Rooms are located behind the stage curtains. Both dressing rooms will be designated for girls and the men’s restroom in the lobby area can be used for the boys dressing room.

When entering and exiting the girls dressing rooms — extreme caution should be taken in being quiet so those performing on stage will not be distracted.

Please be dressed and ready when a category is called.

GREEN ROOM (Also located behind stage curtains) is for GSCC/GCLA Staff only .
