The winners of the Miss Georgia State Clogger Pageant will serve as official ambassadors of the Georgia Clogging Leaders Association throughout the year of their reign.

Two Overall Queens will be selected to represent Miss Georgia State Clogger at the 2010 Miss EPIC Pageant. Entry fee for Miss EPIC will be paid by GCLA. |
Age Divisions
Tiny
Miss: ages 6-7
Little Miss: ages 8-9
Young Miss: ages 10-11
Preteen Miss: ages 12-14
Teen Miss: ages 15-18
Senior Miss: ages 19-25
Young Adult Miss: ages 26-35
Adult Miss: ages 36+
Rising Star Miss (Special Needs Division): all ages
***Director reserves the right to change/divide/combine age divisions according to number of entries
Categories of Competition
Talent (CLOGGING) | Two (2)-minute time limit |
| Any type of music allowed. Music must be on CD. Speed must be set—variable speed not available. |

Verbal Presentation
|
Speech should be no longer than 30-45 seconds and should cover a “clogging-related” topic. (Examples of topics include: why I love clogging, my favorite clogging memory, or what clogging means to me). |

Private interview with judges, held day of pageant. |

Rules of Competition
Eligibility
To qualify for entry in the Miss Georgia State Clogger Pageant, contestants must be female, ages 6+ by date of the competition.
Responsibilities
The winners of each division will serve as official ambassadors for GCLA and are to participate in the events hosted by GCLA throughout the year of their reign. Overall Queens will represent GCLA at the 2011 Miss EPIC Pageant. Overall Queens who do not participate in the Miss EPIC Pageant will be asked to relinquish the title.
Refunds
No refunds will be given unless the competition is cancelled.
Application Deadline
Applications and entry fees are due no later than October 15, 2010. Applications will not be accepted without entry fees. Contestant numbers in each division will be given in reverse order of receiving the applications. (Example: The first application received will be the last contestant in the division.)
Rehearsal
A rehearsal will be held for all contestants on December 11, 2010 at 9:30am.
